If you haven't done so already, pre-register by June 13 to attend the National Charter Schools Conference hosted by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. This conference is the ONLY national gathering of the entire charter school community. This year's conference is June 22-25 in New Orleans, LA.

Each of these hotels is in the famous French Quarter (see photos at right) - less than a mile from the Convention Center. You will get the true New Orleans experience at any one of these hotels! Complimentary shuttles will be provided between these hotels and the Convention Center during peak conference hours.

    SIGN UP FOR NEW ORLEANS VOLUNTEER PROJECTS NOW
    We still have space available to participate in the volunteer project with Hands on New Orleans at the Milne Boys Home. The volunteer opportunity will take place on Wednesday June 25, 2008 from 7:30am - 3:00pm. Hands On New Orleans serves to mobilize the volunteers to assist in the rebuilding of New Orleans and create immediate, tangible impact. Through a community service experience with Hands On New Orleans, attendees will have an unparalleled service experience at the Milne Boys Home.

    Hosted by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, this conference is the ONLY national gathering of the entire charter school community. This year's conference is June 22-25 in New Orleans, LA. Participants will not find a better opportunity to learn and grow in an atmosphere of camaraderie and fun.

    "Still We Rise: Achieving Academic Excellence at Scale" is the conference theme, reflecting the growth of quality public charter schools across America. The theme has special resonance in New Orleans, which boasts the nation's largest percentage of public charter school enrollment.
